If you want an uncensored AI image generator in November 2026, you have two real paths. You can use a hosted service that allows adult content with fictional adults (Cleus Imagine, Venice, Civitai's mature site, Grok Imagine, PixAI, Perchance), or you can run open-source software like ComfyUI on your own computer. Hosted tools are faster to start. Local tools give you the most control and privacy, but you need a decent graphics card and some patience.
No legitimate service is "anything goes." Every option below bans sexual content involving minors, and most ban sexual images of real people. Where they differ is how much adult content they allow, what they cost, and what they do with your prompts.
This guide compares seven options using each service's own pricing and policy pages. Prices are as of November 2026.
Quick answer: the 7 options
- Cleus Imagine – uncensored by default, with editing, consistent characters and video in one app.
- Local Stable Diffusion-family setups (ComfyUI, Forge) – free software, full control, runs offline.
- Civitai (civitai.red) – the largest library of community models, with mature generation moved to a separate site.
- Venice – privacy-first chat and images; adult images once you turn off the Mature Filter on Pro.
- Grok Imagine – mainstream images and video with a mature "Spicy" video mode and strict rules on real people.
- Perchance – free, no sign-up, ad-supported, good for quick experiments.
- PixAI – anime-focused, 18+ only, with tagged NSFW content.
1. Cleus Imagine (our pick, with a disclosure)
Cleus is our product, so weigh that.
The default image model in Cleus Imagine is Uncensored+, Cleus's own uncensored text-to-image model. It allows nudity and adult themes with fictional adults, follows your aspect ratio, and handles realism and text inside images well. Each image costs 3 credits. Free accounts get a small daily credit refill with no card required, and Premium plans give a larger daily allowance.
The model picker also has mainstream models: Quality+, Pro+ (2K output), Nano Banana 2.1 and GPT Image 2.5. Those keep their providers' content rules, so switch back to Uncensored+ for adult work.
What sets Cleus apart is everything around the generator:
- Editing with references. Use up to 4 reference photos, plus inpaint, expand, upscale and background removal.
- Consistent characters. Save characters to a library, or create a Cleus Avatar of your own face from 3–10 photos.
- 158 one-tap Effects, such as action figure, anime, figurine and a 360° orbit, browsable on the public /effects page.
- Video. Uncensored+ video (5 or 10 seconds, up to 1080p), Quality+ video (2–30 seconds with sound) and Kling 4.0 (3–30 seconds, 720p/1080p, sound, reference and video-edit modes). See our Kling 4.0 guide. You can also swap yourself into a video or make talking videos.
- Imagine Agent. Describe a project and an agent plans and generates a batch of images or clips.
- Assets library. Save images and characters and @tag them across Chat, Imagine, Agent and Studio.
The lines Cleus does not cross: no sexual content involving minors, and no explicit images of real people or any other non-consensual intimate imagery, on any model. If an intimate image of you was made or shared on Cleus without your consent, there is a takedown form at /report. We think a clear "no" on real people is a feature, not a limit. It is what keeps an adult-friendly service online and trustworthy.
Downsides: credit-based, so heavy users will want Premium. It is a hosted service, so you are trusting Cleus with your prompts, unlike a local setup.
If you also want uncensored chat, see our guide to uncensored AI chatbots.
2. Local setups: ComfyUI and Forge
Running models on your own machine is the only setup where no company filters your prompts. ComfyUI is the main tool in 2026. It is free and open source (GPL-3.0), runs on Windows, Linux and macOS, and supports NVIDIA, AMD, Intel and Apple Silicon hardware. Its README says it can run large models on as little as 4 GB of VRAM and 8 GB of RAM, and that the core "does not download anything unless you request it" – it can run fully offline.
The original Stable Diffusion WebUI Forge has not been updated since July 2025. If you prefer its simpler interface, community forks such as Forge Classic are still maintained.
What "uncensored" means here: the software applies no content rules of its own. What you can make depends on the checkpoint (model file) and LoRAs you download, usually from Civitai or Hugging Face. Some are trained for adult content, and many are not. If you're curious how open models get their refusals removed on the text side, our explainer on abliterated models covers the idea.
Strengths: private, free per image after hardware, unlimited, and you control every setting. Downsides: setup takes time, node graphs have a learning curve, video models need a strong GPU, and you carry the full legal responsibility for what you create and share.
3. Civitai and civitai.red
Civitai is the biggest hub for community checkpoints and LoRAs, and it has an on-site generator. In 2026 the site split. The main civitai.com memberships page now says "Unrestricted content creation has moved to civitai.red."
The money side matters here:
- Green memberships are paid by card through Stripe: Bronze $10/month (10,000 Green Buzz), Silver $25 (25,000) and Gold $50 (50,000). Civitai says Green Buzz "supports safe-for-work content creation."
- Yellow Buzz, bought on civitai.red, "supports all content ratings." Yellow memberships are no longer available, so mature generation is pay-as-you-go. Check the purchase page for current payment methods and prices.
- Blue Buzz is earned from daily rewards and site activity.
Civitai's Safety Center is strict on two points. Content that reproduces the likeness of real people is banned "in any context," including fan art of characters as played by a recognizable actor. All photorealistic images of minors and all sexual depictions of minors (including anime) are banned. Moderators monitor on-site generation, and attempts to get around the rules can lead to a ban.
Strengths: huge model variety, LoRAs for nearly any style, and video generation. Downsides: the Buzz system is confusing, mature content needs Yellow Buzz rather than a card subscription, and the rules and payment options have changed more than once.
4. Venice
Venice is a privacy-focused AI app with text, image and video generation. Its pricing page lists:
- Free: 15 image prompts per day.
- Pro: $18/month, up to 1,000 images per day.
- Pro Plus ($68) and Max ($200) with higher limits.
Adult images are gated. Venice's FAQ says you can turn off the Mature Filter only on Pro or higher. Pro also lets you remove the Venice watermark. On privacy, Venice says conversations are stored locally on your device and it does not store or log prompts or responses on its servers. Its terms ban content that exploits children and using a third party's name, image or likeness without their consent.
Strengths: strong privacy story, generous Pro image limits, chat and images in one place. Downsides: no adult images on the free plan, and upscales and enhancements count as multiple image requests.
5. Grok Imagine
Grok Imagine is the image and video generator inside Grok. Grok's plans page now bundles AI with X in four tiers: Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra. "Make stunning AI images & videos" is listed from Premium up, and 1080p video from Super. Prices are shown in local currency and vary by region, so check the page for yours. The app still offers a "Spicy" video mode, flagged as mature.
Grok has the strictest real-people rules in this list, and for good reason. In January 2026, after users had Grok edit photos of real people into revealing clothing on X, X said it would block sexually explicit images of real people, and governments opened investigations. The current acceptable use policy (effective August 14, 2026) bans "undressing or nudifying real persons," depicting real people in a pornographic manner, and sexualizing children. It also bans jailbreaking.
Strengths: fast, polished, good video, and part of a plan many X users already pay for. Downsides: the least permissive option here for adult content, an X bundle you may not want, and a history of policy changes.
6. Perchance
Perchance's AI image generator is free, needs no sign-up, and advertises unlimited use. It is funded by ads shown to logged-out users. The plugin documentation says the model "can return NSFW/adult-themed results" when prompted with adult terms, and tells users to treat it like a Google image search. It also says images are not stored on the server unless you save them to the public gallery.
Strengths: truly free, instant, no account. Downsides: it's built for one prompt at a time, with few editing tools, no character library, ads, and limits on how many requests you can run at once. There's no setting you can rely on to keep results fully safe or fully adult.
7. PixAI
PixAI focuses on anime art. Its terms require an account and users aged 18 or older, and ask users to label sexually explicit content with the NSFW tag system. Members get monthly credits that PixAI says cover "up to 2,000+ images," plus image-to-video, chat-style editing and up to 15 LoRAs per generation. Unused credits roll over. PixAI doesn't show a single public price we could confirm, so check current pricing in the app.
Strengths: the best fit here for anime and manga styles, with strong character-reference editing. Downsides: narrow on style, and the realistic look you'd get from Cleus or a local setup isn't its focus.

How to pick
Pick your generator in five questions
Answer in order. The first strong yes usually decides it.
Yes: install ComfyUI and download a community checkpoint. Nothing leaves your machine and there is no service filter. No: use a hosted tool.
Local vs hosted. If you have a recent GPU and want zero filters, go local with ComfyUI. If you're on a laptop or phone, a hosted service will get you results in minutes instead of hours.
Privacy. Local is the most private, because nothing leaves your machine. Among hosted tools, Venice says it doesn't store prompts on its servers, and Perchance says it doesn't store unsaved images. With any hosted service, read the privacy policy before you upload photos of yourself.
Cost per image. Local costs nothing per image after hardware. Venice Pro works out cheap if you generate a lot ($18 for up to 1,000 images a day). Cleus charges 3 credits per Uncensored+ image from a daily allowance. Civitai prices vary by model in Buzz.
Editing and consistent characters. This is where most free tools fall short. Cleus (reference photos, character library, Avatars) and PixAI (reference editing, LoRAs) handle it best among hosted options. Locally, you can do it with LoRAs and ComfyUI workflows, but you build it yourself.
Video. Cleus, Grok, Venice, Civitai and PixAI all offer video in some form. Perchance's image generator doesn't. Locally, video is possible but needs serious VRAM.
Safety and legality: where each service draws the line
"Uncensored" never means legal immunity. Three rules hold almost everywhere:
- No minors, ever. Every service in this guide bans sexual content involving minors. Civitai also bans photorealistic images of minors in any context, and sexualized anime minors. xAI reports suspected child sexual abuse material to NCMEC.
- Real people need consent, and most services won't touch them at all. Cleus blocks explicit images of real people. Civitai bans real-person likeness in any context. Grok bans undressing or nudifying real people. Venice's terms bar using someone's likeness without consent. Running a model locally doesn't change the law.
- The law has caught up. In the US, the TAKE IT DOWN Act, signed in May 2025, makes it a crime to knowingly publish non-consensual intimate images, including AI-made "digital forgeries." Since May 19, 2026, covered platforms must remove reported images within 48 hours.
Our advice is simple: keep adult work to fictional adults, never use a real person's photo for sexual content, and don't share anything you'd be uncomfortable defending.

Uncensored AI image generator FAQ
Is there a free uncensored AI image generator?
Yes. Perchance is free with no sign-up and can return adult results. Cleus gives free accounts daily credits, and Uncensored+ is the default model. Local tools like ComfyUI are free software if you already own a capable GPU. Venice's free plan has 15 image prompts a day, but its Mature Filter can only be turned off on Pro.
Which AI image generator has no filter at all?
Only a local setup has no service-side filter, because the software runs on your machine. Every hosted service has rules, at minimum on minors and real people.
Is it legal to make NSFW AI images?
Adult images of fictional adults are legal in most places, but laws vary by country. Sexual content involving minors is illegal everywhere, and publishing non-consensual intimate images of real people, including AI fakes, is a federal crime in the US under the TAKE IT DOWN Act.
Can I make NSFW images of a celebrity or someone I know?
No. Cleus, Civitai, Grok and Venice all ban it or require consent, and doing it can be a crime. If it has happened to you, use the platform's report form. On Cleus, that's /report.
What is the best uncensored AI image generator for anime?
PixAI is built for anime and has an NSFW tag system for adult users. Civitai has the largest selection of anime checkpoints and LoRAs. Cleus Imagine also handles anime styles and has one-tap anime Effects.
Do uncensored AI image generators keep my images private?
It depends. Local tools keep everything on your device. Venice says it doesn't log prompts on its servers. Perchance says unsaved images aren't stored. Other hosted services keep your images in your account, so check each privacy policy.
Can I make uncensored AI videos too?
Yes. Cleus Imagine has Uncensored+ video and Kling 4.0. Grok has a Spicy video mode, and Venice, Civitai and PixAI offer video generation as well.
