Content Policy

This Content Policy applies to all use of Cleus AI ("Services"), including all inputs ("Input") and outputs ("Output"). By using the Services, you agree to abide by this policy in addition to our Terms of Use.

Overview

Cleus AI enables creative and expressive experiences. To protect users, partners, and the broader community, certain content is prohibited. These rules apply regardless of whether content is user-provided or AI-generated. Policy violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, or account suspension/termination.

Age and Sensitive Use

  • Use by individuals under 18 requires consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Do not use the Services for mental health, medical, legal, or financial advice; seek qualified professionals.

Prohibited Content

Do not generate, store, or share content in the following categories:

  • Sexual Content and Exploitation: sexually explicit, pornographic, or erotic content; AI adult roleplay; NSFW imagery; sexual simulations; sexual violence; incest; bestiality; fetish content intended for sexual arousal; non-consensual sexual content; sexual services or solicitation; any sexual content involving minors or individuals who appear to be minors.
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): any depiction or discussion that sexualizes minors. We report suspected CSAM to applicable authorities.
  • Graphic Violence and Gore: depictions intended to shock or arouse; "snuff" content; glorification of violent acts.
  • Hate, Harassment, and Threats: abusive content targeting protected classes or individuals; doxxing; intimidation; incitement of real-world harm.
  • Extremism and Terrorism: praise, support, or propaganda for extremist or terrorist organizations and ideologies.
  • Self-Harm and Dangerous Acts: instructions or encouragement for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other dangerous activities.
  • Illegal Drugs and Paraphernalia: instructions to create, procure, or distribute illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia; promotion of the sale of illegal substances.
  • Weapons and Explosives: instructions to manufacture or procure weapons, explosives, 3D-printed/"ghost" guns, or to evade safety systems.
  • Cybercrime and Security Abuse: malware, spyware, keyloggers; hacking instructions; credential theft; phishing; paywall/DRM bypass; unlawful surveillance.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: unauthorized use or distribution of copyrighted content; trademark misuse; promotion of piracy.
  • Deceptive or Manipulative Content: impersonation, deepfakes of identifiable individuals without consent; coordinated deceptive practices; undisclosed synthetic media presented as real.
  • Privacy Violations: sharing personal or sensitive data without consent, including biometric identifiers and financial information.
  • Fraud and Illegal Commerce: scams; instructions to commit fraud; sale or solicitation of illegal goods/services.
  • Regulated or Restricted Goods/Services: unlicensed sale or promotion of financial services, gambling, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or pharmaceuticals where prohibited by law.

Borderline and Sensitive Content

Content that is educational, documentary, or artistic may be allowed at our discretion if it does not promote harm and is presented with context. We may require edits, warnings, or refuse content that is excessively graphic, sensational, or likely to cause harm or distress.

Safety and Moderation

  • We use a combination of automated systems and human review to detect and address policy violations.
  • We may restrict features, block content, or suspend/terminate accounts for violations without prior notice.
  • Serious violations (e.g., CSAM, credible threats, terrorism) may be escalated to law enforcement.
  • We may take precautionary action based on repeated borderline behavior or evasion attempts.

User Responsibilities

  • Review Output for accuracy and appropriateness before use or sharing.
  • Do not rely on Output for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
  • Respect others’ rights, including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property.

Reporting and Appeals

To report content or behavior that violates this policy, contact us at support@cleus.ai. If your content or account is restricted, you may request a review by contacting the same address with relevant details.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Content Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
