Question 1

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Accepted Answer

Open Manage my plan and choose cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. If you just need a break, you may be offered a pause or a free month instead.

Question 2

I paid but I don’t see Premium or my credits

Accepted Answer

Card payments usually show up within a minute, and PayPal can take up to 15 minutes. Please don’t pay again. If it’s still missing after that, send a Billing request with the time you paid and the email on the receipt, and we’ll add it.

Question 3

I was charged twice, or I want a refund

Accepted Answer

Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires it, but if something went wrong (a duplicate charge, a billing mistake, or Cleus not working for you) send a Billing request with the date and amount and we’ll make it right.

Question 4

How much is Premium and what do I get?

Accepted Answer

Premium is $9.95 a month (₹999 in India) or $99 a year, about $8.25 a month. You get 250 credits every day instead of 7, two included Uncensored+ videos a day, 30 extra chat messages a day once your credits run out, Story mode, the best models, more images and video, and end-to-end encrypted chats.

Question 5

What’s the difference between credits and balance?

Accepted Answer

Credits are your daily allowance: 7 a day on the free plan and 250 on Premium, topped up every day. Balance is money you add yourself. While you’re on Premium, it pays for anything your daily credits don’t cover, and it’s what the developer API uses.

Question 6

How do I pay, and which methods do you take?

Accepted Answer

You can pay by card or PayPal for the monthly or yearly plan. The yearly plan can also be paid in crypto (stablecoins). Cleus never sees or stores your card number.

Question 7

Does a crypto payment renew automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Paying in crypto buys 12 months of Premium, and it never renews on its own. When it ends you can pay again the same way.

Question 8

Can I turn off automatic top-ups?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Automatic top-up only runs if you turned it on with a saved card. Switch it off, or remove the card, on the Add credits page.

Question 9

I forgot my password

Accepted Answer

Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page, enter your email, and open the link we send (check spam and Promotions too). If you signed up with Google, there’s no separate password: use Continue with Google.

Question 10

I didn’t get the confirmation or reset email

Accepted Answer

Give it a couple of minutes and check spam and Promotions. Confirming your email is optional, so you can keep using Cleus in the meantime. Still nothing after 10 minutes? Send an Account request and tell us the address you used.

Question 11

Can I change the email on my account?

Accepted Answer

You can’t change it yourself yet. Sign in to the account, send an Account request with the new address, and we’ll move it for you.

Question 12

How do I delete my account or my data?

Accepted Answer

To wipe your chats, stories, characters and media but keep the account, use Reset Data in Settings. To close the account for good, open Account & settings from the menu (your name at the bottom left) and choose Delete Account. Both are permanent. On Premium? Cancel first so you’re not charged again.

Question 13

Can I install Cleus as an app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On iPhone or iPad, open cleus.ai in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android or a computer, use Install app in Chrome’s menu or address bar. The app can notify you when replies and videos are ready.

Question 14

Can I choose which page Cleus opens on?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Settings, pick a Start page: Chat, Characters, Story or Imagine. It’s saved on each device.

Question 15

My free credits ran out

Accepted Answer

Free credits refill every day, and Cleus can remind you when they’re back. Premium gives you 250 credits a day plus extra chat messages when those run out.

Question 16

An image or video failed. Did I lose my credits?

Accepted Answer

No. When an image or video fails because of a problem on our side, Cleus tries once more with a backup engine and refunds your credits if that fails too. If you were charged for something that never arrived, send a request with the time and the prompt.

Question 17

Why was my prompt or image blocked?

Accepted Answer

Cleus answers frankly on lawful topics, but a few things are never allowed: anything sexual involving minors, and explicit images of real people. Some image and video models also refuse certain prompts on their own, such as edits of famous people. Try rewording or another model. If you think it’s a mistake, send a Content & safety request with the prompt.

Question 18

My video is taking a long time

Accepted Answer

Videos usually take a few minutes, and longer or higher-quality ones can take more. You can leave the page: it keeps going, it’s waiting in Imagine when you come back, and we’ll notify you when it’s ready if notifications are on.

Question 19

A reply stopped halfway or won’t load

Accepted Answer

Refresh the page: your messages are saved. If replies keep failing, pick a different model from the model menu and try again, then send us a request saying which model and roughly when it happened.

Question 20

Does Cleus remember me between chats?

Accepted Answer

Only if you turn it on. Memory is off by default. In Chat, open the model menu and choose Memory to let Cleus remember facts about you and, if you like, look back at your past chats. You can see and delete what it remembers there.

Question 21

Who can see my chats?

Accepted Answer

Your chats are private to your account and are never sold. Premium members can turn on end-to-end encryption, which locks chats on your device so not even Cleus can read them.

Question 22

I lost my encryption passphrase

Accepted Answer

Encrypted chats open with your passphrase or your one-time recovery code. We never see either one, so if both are lost, those chats can’t be recovered, even by us. Your unencrypted chats aren’t affected.

Question 23

How do I report an intimate image of me, or other content?

Accepted Answer

For an intimate image or video of you shared without consent, including AI-made ones, use the removal form: valid requests are handled within 48 hours, and you don’t need an account. For anything else that breaks the rules, send a Content & safety request with the link.

Question 24

Do you have an API?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create a key on the Developers page. API calls are paid from your balance and work while you’re on Premium. You can also use Cleus from Claude and other AI apps through our MCP server.

Question 25

Can I earn by recommending Cleus?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Join the affiliate program, share your link, and earn 20% of every subscription payment from the people you bring, for as long as they stay subscribed.

Question 26
